Her voice is pure and wistful and floats over her ballads of love, loss, tragedy and redemption. K.C. immediately reminds of yesterday's songbirds, Sandy Denny, Maddy Prior or Joni Mitchell as well as more modern interpreters of the style such as Gillian Welch, Devon Sproule.
