 | | Description: | Al Zman Saib is an album by Fadoul, released in 2015. The album is a world CD. - Reissue of very rare arabic funk music with a punk attitude, for fans of labels like Now Again, Pharaway Sounds, Soundway, Analog Africa, etc. 8 tracks of raw Arabic funk music, none of these have ever been reissued before. So far Fadoul (or Fadul, or Faddoul, the transcription of his name to latin letters differs)& his music had not been rediscovered, as a matter of fact most of those songs still left no trace whatsoever in the world wide web. It took us 2 years and countless trips to Morocco to find the artists family to license the release from them. Vinyl and CD edition come with liner notes, unseen live photos and lyrics translations."Al Zman Saib" is a remarkable CD release by Moroccan artist Fadoul, brought to you by the renowned label Habibi Funk Records. This album captures the raw energy and unique fusion of funk, soul, and traditional Moroccan sounds that defined Fadoul's groundbreaking approach in the 1970s. With gritty vocals and infectious grooves, "Al Zman Saib" stands as a testament to Fadoul?s innovative spirit?his music was heavily influenced by James Brown but remains distinctly North African in flavor. Though his career was tragically short-lived, Fadoul has become an underground legend whose rediscovered recordings have gained international acclaim thanks to Habibi Funk?s dedicated archival work. Habibi Funk Records specializes in unearthing rare gems from Arabic-speaking countries, focusing on cross-cultural musical treasures that might otherwise remain unheard. | | | No. of tracks: |
