The Proposition are a Sydney-based guitar pop band fronted by singer-songwriter Luke Russell. The lineup includes lead guitarist Murray Cook (The Wiggles), drummer Peter Timmerman (Widdershins, John Kennedy), and Nicole Smede and Brooke Smith on vocals. Edge of the Dancefloor is a collection of songs that trace the path of a jaded romantic through the streets of Kings Cross, Darlinghurst and Surry Hills.
