Limited vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. 2016 release, the third album by Quilt. The title Plaza implies a meeting place, a crossroads, a coming together. Written in Atlanta, upstate New York, and on the road in between, Plaza was realized by the band with producer Jarvis Taveniere, who helped Quilt showcase a tighter, more concise version of their music, mixing folk and pop-psych into a common ground that marks the purest distillation of their group aesthetic to date. Quilt is a four-piece psychedelic indie-rock band from Boston. They write collaboratively and share vocal duties. They were born out of a local improv scene, and combine elements of folk-rock, psychedelia and dream pop.
