Two CD set featuring personalized liner notes from Howe Gelb. Arizonian desert-rock band Giant Sand initially released proVISIONS in 2008. The album features appearances from Gelb favorites Neko Case, Isobel Campbell and M Ward. 'The Desperate Kingdom Of Love' is a cover penned by friend PJ Harvey. Recorded partly in Tucson and partly in Denmark, it's an "array of peyote rock, twilight ballads, space cowboy soundtracks, and spooky sidetracks off the beaten path on par with the band's best work." (Pitchfork).

Released in a gatefold cardboard sleeve with two seperate inner sleeves and an eight-page booklet. On both inner sleeves: 30 Years of Giant Sand Isobel Campbell courtesy of V2 Records International Ltd., Neko Case courtesy of Anti-, M. Ward courtesy of Merge Records and 4AD, Henriette Sennenvaldt courtesy of herself. This record is severely lovingly dedicated to Bill Gelb.
