"Shazam" showcases The Move's unique blend of psychedelic rock, hard-edged riffs, and melodic pop sensibilities that made them pioneers in the late '60s UK music scene. The Move were one of Britain's most influential bands during the transition from psychedelia to early progressive rock. Formed in Birmingham in 1965, they achieved chart success with hits such as "Night of Fear," "I Can Hear the Grass Grow," and especially ?Blackberry Way,? which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. Members Roy Wood, Bev Bevan, Carl Wayne, Trevor Burton, Rick Price (and later Jeff Lynne) would go on to shape British rock further?most notably through Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), founded by Wood and Lynne after The Move?s dissolution.
