Description:Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the classic 1970 album by The Move. Of all of the groups to emerge in Britain in the latter half of the 1960s, The Move was arguably one of the finest. A powerful act on stage, the group were blessed with one of the most imaginative songwriters of his generation in Roy Wood. Shazam is regarded by many as the finest Move album, despite being recorded in a time of flux for the band. Newly remastered, this edition of Shazam has also been expanded to include eight bonus tracks encompassing the singles 'Wild Tiger Woman', 'Blackberry Way' and two rare tracks.
"Shazam: Remastered & Expanded Edition" is a deluxe CD release by the legendary British rock band The Move, brought to you by Cherry Red Records. This expanded edition revisits the band's iconic 1970 album with remastered audio and an array of bonus tracks, including rare singles, B-sides, and previously unreleased material. "Shazam" showcases The Move's unique blend of psychedelic rock, hard-edged riffs, and melodic pop sensibilities that made them pioneers in the late '60s UK music scene. Highlights include standout tracks like "Hello Susie," "Beautiful Daughter," and their epic cover of "Fields of People." The accompanying booklet features insightful liner notes and rare photos for fans and collectors alike. Members Roy Wood, Bev Bevan, Carl Wayne, Trevor Burton, Rick Price (and later Jeff Lynne) would go on to shape British rock further?most notably through Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), founded by Wood and Lynne after The Move?s dissolution. Cherry Red Records is renowned for its dedication to reissuing classic albums across genres with exceptional attention to detail. Established in 1978 in London, Cherry Red has become synonymous with quality releases featuring comprehensive booklets and expertly curated bonus content?a trusted name among music enthusiasts seeking definitive editions.
