"The Impossible Kid" est le septième album studio du célèbre artiste hip-hop Aesop Rock et a été publié en format CD en 2016 par Rhymesayers Entertainment. Cet opus met en avant la virtuosité lyrique caractéristique d?Aesop Rock ainsi que ses jeux de mots complexes sur des thèmes tels que l?introspection personnelle et la santé mentale portés par une production inventive. Des titres phares comme « Rings », « Blood Sandwich » ou « Dorks » illustrent son talent narratif hors pair et sa maîtrise du flow complexe. Figure majeure du rap indépendant depuis la fin des années 90 avec notamment les albums « Labor Days » ou « None Shall Pass », il repousse sans cesse les limites de l?écriture dans le genre hip-hop underground américain.
