One of my favorite metallica CDs. It contains many great songs (Fade to Black, Creeping Death, For Whom the Bell Tolls, etc.). Remastered version sounds good too.

Ride the Lightning is one of the most memorable albums I have ever listened to. The songwriting and riff writing here transcend just about everything else that thrash has to offer and is, in my opinion, the pinnacle of the genre.

This is not only one of the best Metal albums of all time, but also my favorite Metallica's album. It's even better than Master of Puppets, period. For Whom the Bell Tolls, Fade to Black, Creeping Death, Ride the Lighting, and The Call of Ktulu...All are thrash classics.

Probably my favorite Metallica album. Every song here is a killer! This remastered digipack features the inserted Dave Mustaine songwriting credits for two tracks, that was completely omitted on earlier releases.

Some people think this album is better than Kill Em All. I personally don't agree, but you can't go wrong with Metallica featuring Cliff Burton on bass.
