This band is not just MDM we are all used to. Inspite of sometimes you can hear shades of well known and very popular bands like Dark Tranquility etc, Be'lakor has it's own stile and specific melodic patterns. It is really hard to explain what exactly the difference is, but there is difference and once you listen to it at least 4-5 times you will definitely understand. As related band I can mention Allegaeon.
