Description: | Vinyl LP pressing in gatefold sleeve. Originally released in 1976, Heart's debut release is now celebrating it's 40th anniversary. Dreamboat Annie was an impressive hard rock debut. "Crazy on You," which spotlighted the piercing vocals of singer Ann Wilson and the chunky guitar bluster of her sister Nancy, entered the Top 40, and the more mystical "Magic Man" climbed to #9. Dreamboat Annie also exposed a more vulnerable side of the band with the title track. The album was recorded on an Ampex MM1000 16-track tape recorder (which formerly belonged to United Western Recorders) at the Can-Base Studios in Vancouver, BC, which were later renamed to the current Mushroom Studios. It was the first major hit album recorded there.40th Anniversary vinyl"Dreamboat Annie" is the debut studio album by American rock band Heart, released in 1975 on Capitol Records. This LP features iconic tracks such as "Magic Man," "Crazy On You," and the enchanting title track "Dreamboat Annie." The album blends elements of hard rock with folk influences, showcasing Ann and Nancy Wilson's powerful vocals and exceptional musicianship. Over their career, they have sold over 35 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
