Description:
The Brothers Comatose recorded Respect the Van in 2012 in the wake of two long years of touring across the United States in their glorious, (now retired) 1988 red Chevy G20 conversion van. The album was recorded back at Prairie Sun Studios, and featured a guest vocal appearance by Nicki Bluhm in the bittersweet duet, "Morning Time". The band toured on the success of the record into festivals such as Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, DelFest, High Sierra, Pickathon, Wakarusa and Gray Fox, and opening spots with Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, Devil Makes Three and Yonder Mountain String Band.
