I have a double attitude to this album. In the 70s I really liked him. I liked the interest of rock musicians in the Russian classical music. It was very cool. But the time has passed, now my son is performing this work on the stages of Russia, and listening to his performance of this work, I understand that Emerson does not feel the depth and drama of the "Pictures", they turned out to be flat, one-dimensional and boring in his interpretation. I guess I'm getting old ...
