Laserdance ist eine aus den Niederlanden stammende Band der beiden Produzenten Michiel Van der Kuy und Erik van Vliet. 1983 gegründet, entwickelt sich Laserdance im Laufe der Jahre dank zahlreicher Album- und Singleveröffentlichungen zu einem mega -erfolgreichen Projekt. 1988 folgte das zweite Album"Around The Planet". Besonders der Titel"Mars Invaders" wurde zu einem Erfolg in div. Europäischen Charts
