Gettin' To Me/I Need You by Ben E. King, released 29 September 2016. This version of Gettin' To Me/I Need You comes as a 1x12". The vinyl is pressed as a opaque disc. - .. YOU

This epic Ben E King track took thirty years to be heard by anyone outside the recording session when an 8" (yes, eight inches) acetate was found in London's West End. A few years later it was given an eponymous CD release along with 23 other Northern Soul classics from the Atlantic vaults. After a further sixteen years of demand for a 45 release we have finally succumbed. If that weren't enough the best uptempo Northern discovery of last year backs it up on the flip: the Marvellos' originally unissued Loma stomper 'I Need You'. A-side writers are Leiber & Stoller, B-side is by Willie Hutch & Marc Gordon
