Reel Big Fish is one of the legions of Southern California ska-punk bands to edge into the mainstream following the mid-'90s success of No Doubt and Sublime. Like most of their peers, the band is distinguished by their hyperkinetic stage shows, juvenile humor, ironic covers of new wave pop songs, and metallic shards of ska. Originally issued in 2010 as a bonus disc in the band's greatest hits compilation A Best of Us... for the Rest of Us, Skacoustic gathers 22 of Reel Big Fish's biggest hits recorded as acoustic versions including "Sell Out," "Beer," "She Has A Girlfriend Now," "Another F.U. Song," "Your Guts (I Hate 'Em)," and "Don't Start A Band" among many more.
