UK CD edition. For the very first time Jeff Wayne (later more famous of his legendary War Of The Worlds double LP in 1977) was commissioned to write all the music on this album. Naturally this makes this a very important release indeed - as it was the first time ever that Jeff Wayne was given a chance to put music into an album! Plus the fact that only 99 copies were ever made making this promotional only LP one of the all-time rarest UK LPs ever made!

The content of this CD is taken from the original Radio Luxembourg promotional LP (credited elsewhere to Tony Hertz, release number 4869223, no Jeff Wayne credit) which was given out to advertisers circa 1973. The two sides of the LP have been split into 15 tracks. The A side (tracks 1-5) is a dramatised fantasy promoting radio advertising in general. The B side (Tracks 6-15) focuses on promoting Radio Luxembourg with various presenters (including Kenny Everett) and excerpts from hits of the time. It also features original commissioned music composed by Jeff Wayne.
