Part of the Jean-Pierre Leloir 180 gram vinyl Collection, Miles Davis was one of the most important and influential figures in jazz history. The sound of his trumpet â?? completely identifiable given his use of the Harmon mute â?? gave him a personal and intimate feeling, a soft and mellodious sound which frequently led to lyricism and introspection. He was superb playing ballads, and some of his best studio performances of the genre can be found on this LP, which includes works with small groups, mainly quartets presenting Miles as the only horn. - GATEFOLD / 180GR.
