"Salisbury (Expanded Edition)" on CD by British rock pioneers Uriah Heep is an opulent reissue of the band's early classic, presented with the care and depth it deserves. Recorded at a time when Uriah Heep were helping to shape the sound of 1970s hard rock, this expanded edition brings together the original album with additional tracks and versions (where available), opening a broader window onto the creative process behind one of their most adventurous works. Listeners can expect a striking blend of heavy guitars, Hammond organ, multi-layered vocals and progressive arrangements, ranging from powerful rock anthems to extended, atmospheric pieces that showcase the band's musical ambition. The album captures Uriah Heep in a formative yet already confident phase, mixing catchy hooks with complex song structures and dramatic dynamics, and is ideal both for long-time fans and for newcomers wanting to discover the band's roots. Packaging and booklet (where included) typically offer liner notes, photos and contextual information that enrich the listening experience and underline the enduring relevance of "Salisbury" in the band's catalogue.
Uriah Heep, formed in London at the turn of the 1970s, are regarded as one of the key bands of classic hard rock, standing alongside names like Deep Purple and Black Sabbath in defining the era's sound. Known for their distinctive combination of heavy riffs, strong melodies and rich vocal harmonies, they built an international following through relentless touring and a series of influential albums. Their breakthrough work "Demons and Wizards" and other 70s releases brought the band chart success and a loyal fanbase across Europe, Japan and beyond, while songs such as "Easy Livin'" have become staples of rock radio and live stages worldwide. Over the decades, Uriah Heep have maintained an active recording and touring career, with a reputation for powerful live performances and a catalogue that has influenced generations of hard rock and metal musicians. This expanded edition of "Salisbury" highlights an important chapter in that history, making it an essential piece for collectors and fans of classic rock.

This is 2nd studio album. My favorite song is Salisbury. This is great progressive rock and organ song.

I am absolutely sure that this is one of the best albums of this wonderful group of my youth. This is evidenced by collections of the best compositions and concert recordings of the collective, which include a large number of compositions from this album. This edition is a wonderful gift for me, as for a lover of the creativity of these musicians.
