The mostly autobiographical collection is chalk full of stories of conjugal romance, prison songs, and honky-tonk laments. She got busted at a young age for robbing her drug dealer and took a plea deal for 8 months in jail, a felony strike, 6 months of treatment and 3 years felony probation. Sonically, imagine a twangier Fleetwood Mac, or if Linda Rondstadt and the Rolling Stones had made a record. A striking figure with an old soul, and a voice like a force of nature, Wyatt is a sound to behold.
