 | Description: | 2LP vinyl version of Remastered Original Album + LP of Studio masters, B-sides and demos (many for the first time on vinyl) from the 2016 Bella Donna Deluxe Edition. - Vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition of the Fleetwood Mac vocalist's 1981 debut solo album. Bella Donna reached #1 on the US Billboard charts in September of that year. Bella Donna was awarded platinum status by the RIAA on October 7, 1981, less than three months after it's release, and has since been certified quadruple-platinum. The album spawned four substantial hit singles during 1981 and 1982: the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers-penned duet "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" (#3), the Don Henley duet "Leather and Lace" (#6), the iconic "Edge of Seventeen" (#11), and country-tinged "After the Glitter Fades" (#32). Bella Donna would mark the beginning of Nicks' trend of calling upon her many musician friends and connections to fully realize her sparse demo recordings. Along with friends Tom Petty and Don Henley, Nicks brought in session musician Waddy Wachtel, Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band pianist Roy Bittan, and Stax session man Donald "Duck" Dunn of Booker T. & the MGs."Bella Donna (Remastered)" is the iconic debut solo album by Stevie Nicks, now available in a beautifully remastered LP format from Rhino. Originally released in 1981, "Bella Donna" showcases Nicks' ethereal voice and poetic songwriting, blending rock, pop, and folk influences into timeless tracks like "Edge of Seventeen," "Stop Draggin? My Heart Around" (featuring Tom Petty), and "Leather and Lace." The remastering process brings new clarity to every note, making this edition essential for both longtime fans and newcomers. Stevie Nicks rose to fame as a key member of Fleetwood Mac before launching her successful solo career; she has been inducted twice into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?once with Fleetwood Mac and once as a solo artist?and is celebrated for her distinctive style and enduring influence on generations of musicians. Rhino Records is renowned for its dedication to preserving music history through high-quality reissues that honor classic albums while introducing them to new audiences. | | No. of tracks: |
