This album was recorded in 1963 and released by the blue note label. The infectious 15 minute long title track may sound too repetitive for some ears. The outtake from this session, the ballad "if i ever would leave you" was omitted from the original LP propably because of its different feel compared with the other three compositions. Nevertheless this cd is a fine effort.
