Die Sessions unter dem Arbeitstitel Candy Bomber wurden von Paul Lemp in Leben gerufen. Zusammen mit Ingo Krauss, der zwischen 1987 und 2001 als Toningenieur im legendären Studio von Conny Plank gearbeitet hatte, betrieb der passionierte Bassist Paul Lemp, der sich als Komponist für Theater, Film und Tanz einen Namen gemacht hat, das Candy Bomber Studio im ehemaligen Flughafen Berlin-Tempelhof. Das Session-Projekt Candy Bomber war für Paul Lemp der langgehegte Traum einer zwanglosen experimentel
