a good album from the legendary Norwegian band, but in a very bad edition in the form of a thin digi-pack.Very sorry,I wanted a jewel case

Vladislav M. - 09/Oct/2019 5 of 5 Stars!
A magnificent release, from which the winter cold wind blows and the magical energy of the north. A well-deserved classic of the Norwegian and world Black Metal scenes.

This is the milestone album of all black metal albums ever made, especially the symphonic side of black metal. This Spinefarm version offers re-mastered sounds, and it sounds great. If you still don't own this album for some reason you're missing the essential part of the whole BM scene.

Excellent sample of how symphonic black metal should be played!Ice cold atmosphere with screams coming from the beyond! And of course is the first and only emperor album where you can hear "Faust" on drums!Total classic!
