Death in Vegas-Mastermind Richard Fearless und Tim Holmes präsentierten mit â??Scorpio Risingâ?? 2002 eines ihrer besten Alben. Musikalisch bestimmt die Kombination von Synths mit Gitarren-Rock und Psychedelia mit Elektro-Impulsen. Der Death in Vegas-Sound wird von Rock, Dub und Industrial beeinflusst und zeigt sich damit als vielseitiger Mix verschiedener Genres, die in dieser Form des Zusammenspiels besonders ist.
