With tracks like "Executioner's Tax (Swing of the Axe)" and "Firing Squad," Power Trip showcases their signature sound: aggressive riffs, thunderous drums, and commanding vocals. The band hails from Dallas, Texas, and quickly rose to prominence with their debut album before solidifying their status as leaders in contemporary metal with "Nightmare Logic." Their intense live performances have earned them a dedicated global following.
Power Trip was formed in 2008 and became known for revitalizing crossover thrash with fresh intensity. They received critical praise from major publications such as Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, who lauded both their studio work and electrifying concerts. Tragically, frontman Riley Gale passed away in 2020; however, his legacy endures through this landmark release.
