Mark Rae's second solo album featuring booming gospel vocals from long time vocal siren Veba & soul singer Pete Simpson, who lends his sunshine vibes on 'Medicine'. The album flirts with funk, Vangelis inspired synths, gospel, hip hop & soul, encompassing divergent musical styles. There are 5 vocal tracks on the album, testifying to Mark's development as a songwriter. 'Into the Depths' clearly shows Mark's development as a solo artist from his work as part of Rae & Christian. Where his first album 'Rae Road' was an exercise in musical freedom, very different from his previous work, 'Into the Depths' proves that Mark can certainly do things his own way with an album that measures up wonderfully.
