The intelligent sabotage protection of the transmitter and receiver ensures maximum operational reliability and practical functionality. In combination with the ABUS Terxon wire alarm system, the light barrier can be used to monitor corridors, doors or parking spaces. The control of video surveillance systems or lighting is also easy to implement. Exact detection In contrast to passive infrared motion detectors, infrared light barriers only monitor a precisely defined line. Movements within the range before and next to this line, on the other hand, are not detected. Thus, temporary persons are not detected as long as they do not cross the invisible line.
