Description:

The Creation wurde 1966 aus der Beat-Combo The Mark Four gegrÃ¼ndet und schnell von Shel Talmy, dem Produzenten von The Who, unter Vertrag genommen. Der GrÃ¼nder von Creation Records, Alan McGee, benannte sein Label nach der Band und seine Band Biff Bang Pow nach einem ihrer Songs. So war es vielleicht keine Ã?berraschung, als er 1995 auf die Idee kam, dass The Creation einen Song namens â??Creationâ?? aufnehmen sollte, der auf dem Label Creation verÃ¶ffentlicht werden soll. Im Zuge der Reunion Shows im The Mean Fiddler in den Jahren 1993 und 1995 wurde die ursprÃ¼ngliche Besetzung wieder einberufen und die Aufnahmen zu einem Album erweitert. "Power Surge" wurde 1996 verÃ¶ffentlicht. Das Album wird auf 180 Gramm orange Vinyl gepresst. - RSD 2017 / ON COLOURED VINYL
