A very good start to a solo career. Many consider the main lineup of Deep Purple Mark II. From the point of view of performing skills and taking into account the dual vocals, I prefer the Mark III. This is guitarist Blackmore's best time in the band. Hughes' contribution to this lineup is huge both as a bassist and as a second vocalist. It's very interesting what Hughes thought on his own.
