Big Joe Williams - Southside Blues - This fantastic album was recorded live in July 1963 at the Fickle Pickle in Chicago by famed blues producer Norman Dayron. - Big Joe performs many of the traditional and original blues for which he is most widely known, including Baby Please Don't Go and 44 Blues. - A unique and rare recording for blues lovers all over the world LINEUP: Big Joe Williams vocals, guitar / Michael Bloomfield guitar / Sunnyland Slim vocals, piano / Horace "Ace" Cathcart bass / Washboard Sam washboard. - Joe was a major influence throughout his long career on most of today's blues artists and was especially known for his unique development and playing of the 9 string guitar style, something no other artist has successfully attempted.
