THE SHITDigitally remastered two CD set containing a pair of albums from the R&B vocalist. Millie Jackson is much more than an entertainment legend. The shapely, charismatic and multi-talented entertainer is a music industry icon whose career paved the way for many of today's more forward female recording artists and entertainers. Six of her albums have been certified gold with sales of over 500,000 copies. This set comprises The Tide Is Turning, a studio album released in 1988, and Back To The S*T, a live album from the following year. Jackson's album covers frequently appear on "worst ever" lists, notably E. S. P. (Extra Sexual Persuasion) which features Jackson peering into a crystal ball that accentuates her cleavage. Her vocal performances are often distinguished by long, humorous, and explicit spoken sections in her music, which she started doing on stage to get the attention of the audience.
