The London Conchord Ensemble returns to the Music Room at Champs Hill to present a double-disc of music from Vienna including works by Beethoven, Berg, Mozart, Schoenberg, Johann Strauss II and Zemlinksy. The ensemble says of the programming: â??When compiling a collection of chamber music from Vienna, the embarrassment of riches makes it hard to find an organisational principle. It would be difficult enough to be representative, let alone comprehensive. So, we have tried to do something different.
