Azmi H. - 27/Aug/2022 This is Running Wild the year 1989 before the formation got their modern/sensational line up during the period 1992-98. Back in 89' there was ( besides the frontman Rolf ) ; Jens Becker , Majk Moti and drummer Ian Finlay.
| | Sergey I. - 01/Aug/2019 Though Running Wild have a number of excellent albums, this is overally probably my top favorite Running Wild album of all time. The production is very good, levels are not overboosted, so everything is heard very clearly. Drums and bass take a slight backseat to the guitars and vocals, but this suits the composition of this album perfectly. All in all, this is a classic album, that any fan of heavy metal should have the glory of enjoying! If you've somehow never heard of Running Wild, or have been meaning to check them out, this album would be the perfect introduction to the band and what they're all about. I give this album my highest recommendation!
| | Valeriy R. - 17/Jun/2019 The 2CD expanded deluxe edition of maybe the best classical album from the monsters of German metal: solid digipak, luxurious booklet, 2nd disc contains 6 nice bonuses. Worth buying and listening!
| | Alexander S. - 12/Jun/2019 Yeah, hard to review Running Wild. Album "Death Or Glory" - this is Running Wild! Even the design of the booklet contrasts sharply with the other albums. From this album began the classic introduction (here they have not yet been allocated to a separate "intro") to the "openers" of the album Running Wild. Protracted entry develops into the most militant action movie "Riding The Storm", as for me, one of the best things in the history of the group. Behind him, spoiling the entire "Renegade" palette (well, he flew out, flew out), returns back the hard "Evilution", which from the third listening time (just progressive, just kidding) starts asking to put in the fourth, behind it is an unusual for Running Wild thing "Running Blood ", developing into the melodious pretentious instrumental" Highland Glory (The Eternal Fight) ". Here flew the thriller "Marooned", knocked down by such a heavy track "Bad To The Bone", and immediately exploding with the extra-high-speed killer Tortuga Bay. The title "Death Or Glory" and the subsequent "Battle Of Waterloo" are just classic things. Finishes all "March On", remember the year 1985 - "Marching To Die" ...
If you say a masterpiece, then accused of bias. The album is a classic in all respects, the last great album is Running Wild, unlike any other. This metal, where there is pathos, anger, speed, severity, melody and diversity (for 1989, of course). Put on the same shelf with Helloween, Rage, Gamma Ray, Avantasia, and others like them!
| | Vladimir G. - 12/Oct/2018 A classic album in a new remastered package. Great stuff. One of my favorite albums of all time.
| | Shi Duan L. - 24/May/2018 This album is epic in all the right ways. Running Wild is one of the best power metal bands out there specifically for this album. Just buy it!
