Includes original versions and ones sung in Japanese with the latest re-mastering in 2017 plus new demos and rare tracks including performances at a concert held at Hammersmith Odeon in 1986. CD1:
"So Lonely" is a new recorded and shortened version of the song "Ares' Lament", that was released on the studio album [m=183728] in 1984.
CD3:
"Keep On Rocking" is previously unreleased.
An instrumental version of "Show Me The Way" was released on the 30th anniversary edition of [r=9751855] in 2016. Although the melodies are different, "Show Me The Way" shows some structure and rhythm section similarities to the song with the same name ("Show Me The Way"), that was released on the studio album [m=276459] in 1983.
"Jealousy" is an early demo version of the song, that was originally released on the studio mini album [m=450670] in 1988.
"Love Toys" is an early demo version of the song, that was originally released on the studio album [m=415737] in 1991.
CD4:
Only the first two of the rhythm recordings ("Strike Of The Sword" and "In My Dreams") include vocals. The following six rhythm recordings are instrumentals.
The rough mix of "Rock'n Roll Gypsy" fades out about 10 seconds earlier than the original version.
The alt. fade mix of "So Lonely" fades out about 25 seconds earlier than the original version. It also differs a bit to the original version concerning the song structure at the end. While the original version includes the melody singalong from about 3:33 till the end, the remix includes the chorus from about 3:33 till the end. |
