This is an incredible archive release, **Chris Difford** has delved into the furthest recesses of his lock-up and retrieved these twelve demos on some dusty tape reels. These previously unheard gems were recorded on a reel-to-reel tape recorder in 1972, recorded by good friend **Bob Blatchford**. They reveal the beginnings of **Chrisâ??s** lyrical dexterity, combined with his own melodies. - .. AVENUE... DEMOS 1972

To coincide with his new autobiography, Chris dug deep into his archives and emerged with these 12 pre-Squeeze demos, recorded on reel-to-reel at the Difford family home in London. These unreleased time-capsule tracks reveal the lyrical and melodic skills we all later realized Chris had in abundance: "Look Out," "Models," "It's Over," "Save Me," "You're So Cute" and more!
