"Deep calleth upon Deep" is the ninth studio album by Norwegian black metal legends Satyricon, released in 2017 on CD format through Napalm Records. This album marks a significant evolution in the band's sound, blending their signature raw black metal roots with more experimental and atmospheric elements. The music of this album is quite far from the forms of the traditional Black Metal, but Satyricon are real professionals and were able to release very dark music using not quite standard approaches. The record has passed the test of time and is one of their best discs released between 2010 and 2020.
