Description:

UK two CD collection. The Turtles are an American rock band who between 1965-1970 released 18 US Hit Singles, with their cover of Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me Babe" being the first. They are most remembered however for their chart topping single "Happy Together". After only a short period the band split, with two of the members forming the group Flo & Eddie. A version of The Turtles reformed in the late '80s and continue to tour to this day. This best of contains all of the A and B sides of the band's US singles as well as a number of unissued singles. Sleeve notes by Alan Robinson. 48 Tracks in total.
