It affirmed them as one of the key pioneers of Folk Metal upon its release and although its closer to the thrash roots of vocalists Martin Walkyierâ??s previous outfit Sabbat in its approach, it was the experimentation with violins and keyboards on songs like the standout track â??The Widdershins Jigâ?? that would define the bands later offerings.
