This cult classic showcases a dynamic blend of psychedelic rock, hard-edged guitar riffs, and complex song structures that have made it a sought-after gem among collectors. The band's lineup included John Du Cann (later of Atomic Rooster), whose powerful guitar work and songwriting are highlights throughout the record. Tracks like "Too Old," "The Reason," and "Return to Sanity" demonstrate their innovative approach to late-60s rock music. Despite its initial lack of commercial success, Andromeda's only studio album has since gained legendary status for its musicianship and adventurous spirit.
Andromeda was formed in London during the height of the psychedelic era, quickly gaining attention for their energetic live performances and technical prowess. Although they released just one official album before disbanding, members went on to achieve further recognition with other influential bands such as Atomic Rooster.
