| | Description: | Red Dirt Ii is an album by Red Dirt, released in 2018. The album is a blues CD. - Whilst researching the re-release of the original Red Dirt album a few years back, we became aware of the existence of a second unreleased Red Dirt album. Then purely by chance earlier this year, we stumbled across a box of master tapes hidden from view in the warehouse, which turned out to contain the missing master tapes. Many of the tracks had got as far as being at the 'rough mix' stage whilst a few were missing the vocal tracks. We decided that the tracks were strong enough to release as they are with merely a clean-up and balance of the sound. This is as close to the second missing album we could get, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed with what you hear. A fine mix of psychedelic folk and blues rock so typical of it's period. This previously unreleased Red Dirt album features 3 Bonus tracks by Red Dirt guitarist Steve Howden's subsequent band Jude.Hype sticker: "Red Dirt II previously unreleased rock / blues album incl. bonus material by Jude Mastered from original 1970 master tapes Play it loud ! MBTCD017"
