Jamaican born Precious Wilson spent most of her formative years living in the UK, and then the USA, where as a teen where she developed her soulful voice through gospel singing. Returning to the UK Wilson joined the all-male vocal group Eruption as a backing singer, only to take the reigns as lead vocalist when the spot quickly became available.
