Since his collaboration with James Brown in the 1960s, Maceo's saxophone playing has unmistakably stood out from the crowd of saxophonists: clear, distinct and to the point. In addition to Brown, Parker starred with George Clinton and, for years, with Prince. Parker has pushed his own career since the 1990s.
