Description:CD reissue. One of the true pioneers of rock 'n' roll, Jerry Lee Lewis burst onto the scene with 1957s "Whole Lotta Shakin Goin On," continuing his assault on the charts with subsequent smashes "Great Balls Of Fire" and "High School Confidential". The raucous sound he captured on record was soon to be repeated on stage, with Jerry a much in demand live draw. Although his career would suffer something of a downfall following the revelation of his marital status, he continued to register hits around the globe before switching to country music. Thus, it is his rock 'n' roll recordings that ensured his lasting popularity (at least as far as concert goers are concerned), all of which are gathered on this twenty-two track compilation.
