2018 release. Lake Street Dive's Free Yourself Up is, in many ways, the band's most intimate and collaborative record. The band worked as a tightly knit unit to craft the ten songs on Free Yourself Up and self-produced the albumin Nashville with engineer Dan Knobler. "Free Yourself Up is about empowering yourself, emboldening yourself," says the band, "no matter what's going wrong." The members of Lake Street Dive met in 2004 as students at Boston's New England Conservatory of Music. Though they were all studying jazz, their work together was informed by their love of classic pop, particularly from the '60s, including the Beatles, the Supremes, Dusty Springfield, and the Beach Boys., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Bass, Vocals: Bridget Kearney, Design: Ben Tousley, Drums: Jamie Dick, Drums, Percussion, Vocals: Mike Calabrese (2), Engineer: Ben Kane, Engineer: Jaclyn Sanchez, Guitar, Trumpet, Vocals: Mike "McDuck" Olson, Keyboards, Vocals: Akie Bermiss, Lead Vocals: Rachael Price, Management: Emily Lichter, Mastered By: Randy Merrill, Mixed By: Joe Visciano, Photography By: Shervin Lainez, Producer: Lake Street Dive, Producer, Recorded By: Dan Knobler, Recorded By: Ariel Shafir, Recorded By: Dominick Anfiteatro, Written-By: Bridget Kearney, Written-By: Mike "McDuck" Olson, Written-By: Mike Calabrese (2), Written-By: Rachael Price, Labelcode NNS567158.2 (567158-2), Recorded At Goosehead Palace, Recorded At Dreamland Recording Studios, Engineered At Brooklyn Recording, Mixed At Studio 112 (3), Glass Mastered At Technicolor, Guadalajara, Mexico, Pressed By Technicolor, Guadalajara, Mexico
