More than any other composer, he tries in his symphonic oeuvre to get to the very depths of the circle of life - the eternal cycle of growth and decay. The performances were recorded live between 1996 and 2016 in the Philharmonie i'm Gasteig and the Herkulessaal of the Munich Residenz, and most of them are recent.
