The whole is a splendid example of mid-'50's bop, well re-mastered and very, very good value for money. These four albums date from the mid-fifties, and the first three feature Gerry Mulligan’s short-lived Sextet, which included Zoot Sims on tenor, Jon Eardley on trumpet and Bob Brookmeyer on valve trombone.
