Star maker winner 2009 following the path of previous Starmakers Keith Urban, Lee Kernaghan, James Blundell and many more. When 19 year old country rocker Liam Brew was announced as the winner of Toyota Star maker in Tamworth last January, the career plan that he submitted in his senior year at high school proved to be right on track. While his classmates at Caloundra High had charted more traditional paths, Liam's unwavering goal was to follow in the footsteps of his musical influences Keith Urban, Lee Kernaghan and Travis Collins by winning Star maker. Seven months down the track Liam releases his much anticipated CD debut Wild Heart on Compass Bros Records. Produced by Adam Brands long time producer Graham Thompson, Wild Heart is for the most part a fun and rockin country album. There are songs that rock and some more traditional. There are a couple of ballads including an outstanding duet with Travis Collins. The band is hot, the songs are first-rate, and Liam honours them.
