Alles in einer groÃ?en Norelco-KassettenhÃ¼lle. "Symbol of Salvation" ist das vierte Album der amerikanischen Heavy-Metal-Band Armored Saint, das 1991 bei Metal Blade Records erschien. Es war ihre erste VerÃ¶ffentlichung mit dem Gitarristen Jeff Duncan und ihr letztes Album, bevor sie eine lÃ¤ngere Pause einlegten, die bis 1999 dauern sollte. Die Songs auf diesem Album wurden 1988 und 1989 mit dem ursprÃ¼nglichen Gitarristen Dave Prichard geschrieben und aufgenommen (auÃ?er "Truth Always Hurts"), der 1990 vor den Aufnahmen an LeukÃ¤mie starb. Das erste Gitarrensolo auf "Tainted Past" stammt von einem 1989 von Prichard aufgenommenen 4-Spur-Demo. Produziert wurde das Album von Dave Jerden, der zuvor schon Alben von Alice in Chains und Jane's Addiction produziert hatte.
