Before he became a multi-million-selling solo artist, Phil Collins was the drummer and singer of the rock band Genesis. Between 1982 and 1989, Collins scored three UK and seven US number-one singles in his solo career. When his work with Genesis, his work with other artists, as well as his solo career is totalled, Collins had more US Top 40 singles than any other artist during the 1980s. He is one of only two recording artists, along with Paul McCartney, who have sold over 100 million records worldwide both as solo artists and separately as principal members of a band.

Jonathan H. - 30/Mar/2021 The compilation arrived safety and was well packaged. Let’s discuss the quality of this two LP set. The records themselves were in top condition, physically. They were completely flat, and no imperfections to the vinyl. There have been complaints that these discs skipping. It all depends on the quality of turntable/ record player being used. I own a DJ turntable so I am able to adjust weight of the tone arm, plus the anti skate. Anti-Skate prevents the stylus (needle) from skipping. There are turntables on the market that aren’t DJ Decks, but do have options for the tone arm weight, and Anti-Skate adjustment. The sound on the other hand, was a tad disappointing. It appears that during the remastering process, they concentrated on treble and midrange, but ignored Bass. There is also surface noise particularly on Disc 1/ Side A/ Track 1. Vinyl can sound tremendous, provided the transfer is done precessional.
