 | Description: | Daveâ??s career as a songwriter and keyboard player now spans over 50 years, during which time he has played and composed in various bands such as Caravan, Camel, Matching Mole, and Hatfield and the North.
Since his departure from Caravan and then relocating to Japan, he has made a series of excellent solo albums. On this album he explores a whole range of musical genres including Rock, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Choral, Folk and Pop. This is particularly noticeable in his epic 18 minute long track â??Home Againâ?? which he feels surpasses even his best known compositions, â??For Richardâ?? and â??Nine Feet Undergroundâ??.
Another track 'If I Run' goes back as far as 1971 when he was working with Robert Wyatt in Matching Mole.
Youâ??ll also find his poignant tribute to Kevin Ayers in the final track â??Rings Around The Moon.â??
